Photographer's Note
This photo was took few meters far from the previous one. The morning was just begining and I found this homeless sleeping in the beach. I found others taking bath in the sea ahead. WE can find scenes like this in many cities around the world.
We can see he is a young man yet, what put him down ? poverty, drugs, alcohol, violence, madness, a broken heart ? It is so sad to watch a human life that lost its way. Most of them are very difficult to save.
..................................................

Hi Jorge. Powerful image and equally powerful title. It is so sad to see a human being abandoned like the flotsam we see on the beach. he was someone's son and i am sure that when he was born everyone smiled. It is a cruel world sometimes."There but for the grace of God go I," as they say, for it sometimes takes a cruel cast of the dice, and before one knows it, one is down and out. Takes courage and a conscience to post something as direct as this image.Regards. Klaudio.

Hello Jorge.
Thanks for making the bold decision to post this photo, which makes one feel uncomfortable. Your title and note also arouse our consciences and make us think about the deepest things in life. The passing motor boat makes us aware of the passing of all things, and the great amount of indifference to others' suffering in this world. The square crop works well and I'm glad you didn't try to add to the saturation. The beach itself looks rather dirty and neglected.
Regards,
Andrew

Hi Jorge
you have some eye catching photos in your gallery.
this one too.
its cleverly divided into 2 parts, both so strikingly different.
the men in the boat seem so unaware of the man in the FG, and life just goes on!
hate to say its a wonderful shot, due to the poor mans situation, but it is a wonderful technical photo.
cheers

Hi Jorge
Your photo and note a very meaningful. This time, people are seeking happiness only with materialism. Human is not only composed of matter. Human mind, spirit, heart, love, compassion, spiritual devices such as have faith. if man feed its body only and does not feed his spirit, then He will be hungry realy . His degree will be lower than animals. and He can not reach hapiness of animals
I want to share with you a letter on this issue in discussion section
Your photo has been fully in place with everything.
Congratulations
Greetings, regards

Oi Jorge,
uma foto bem ao estilo fotojornalstico. Al駑 do homem deitado na praia, os detritos presentes em toda a regi縊, denuncia o descaso do poder pblico.
Grande abra輟.

Boa noite Jorge!
Mas, no dia-a-dia, choca-me, irrita-me, fico indignado com tais situa鋏es que parecem s piorar dia aps dia! O que fazer?
E a sujeira... tava tudo no mar e acabou na areia!
Uma pena, mas um timo trabalho!

Hello Jorge,
This scene is rather sad and quite impressive. Your publicistic shot and philosophic note show life as it sometimes is. Thanks for well made honest reportage from this beach!

Hi Jorge,
I would not have dared to take this photo either. What a document of a life! He is lying among the rubbish as if he was thrown away.
The composition is excellent - as already mentioned before. But it leaves the viewer with mixed emotions. Thanks for sharing.
Warm regards
Harriet
