Photographer's Note
San Juan de Dios is a village of indigenous people. It is located approx. 5 hours against the stream of river Pachitea from Puerto Bermudez.
People live close to the traditional way of life here, but occasionally thay go with canoe to sell part of its agricultural production (mostly maize) in Puerto Bermudez and buy something useful of the modern conveniences - gum-boots, etc.
These places are not frequented by tourists. When we visited this village, there was no tourist for half-year.
