"The Light", a photo from Paramaribo, Coast

Photographer's Note

I sat at home doing nothing (well watching t.v), I looked out of the window and saw lightning. So I took my Father's D200 and went outside.
This is my result (I never before made lightning photo's) but I'm really happy with it.
And one more thing, lightning like this is very rare in Suriname, Paramaribo. So I was lucky this night.

What a nice moment you captured here, this must be hard to do. I have not try to capture a lighting image yet. This is very beautiful, I like the color and of the sky and interesting how the image is almost divided in half with sky and cloud. Thanks
