Photographer's Note

Egypt-this is not only Sahara desert and pyramids,but a green landscape as well. Thanks the Nile river...the northern section of the river flows almost entirely through desert, from Sudan into Egypt, a country whose civilization has depended on the river since ancient times. Most of the population of Egypt and all of its cities, with the exception of those near the coast, lie along those parts of the Nile valley north of Aswan...here on the picture part of fields in Nile valley from birdview.

Its something hard to believe for me, a real discovery, such a green lanscape in Egypt. Beautiful play of surfaces and lines (specially the big curve).
