An Old Village X, a photo from Mazandaran, East

Photographer's Note

this is 10th shot about Djavaaher Deh Village in the serie,in the north of Iran,2200 m above sea level woth 25Km distance to the Caspian Sea and...having a history more than 2500 years!

but,I must say that you can see a lot of modern style houses there,with a high contrast with old texture of the village and I'm worry about development of the NEW instead of OLD.

I think it could be beside it,with keep of old.
therefore,I would like to shoot and share the "Old" which sooner or later,will be destroy and disappear.

This is really nice Mohammad. I think your composition was very good and it looks like the exposure and sharpness are good as well. I think that the scan might not be the best however, as there is a blue tone to the whole shot, and it looks like the scanner didn't handle the highlights all that well. Good shot.

Beautiful image Mohammad. I lov eeverything in it. The colros, especially the green of the boots. The angle you chose is also very pleasant.
The only drawback for me is the frame.. Nothing , just a personnal taste.

Nice composition Mohammad, the lady in the middle with the traditional attire is nice, maybe is her face what sad. The chunk of wood its very sharp and clear, it's not easy for always scanning, but absolutely lovely picture Mohammad.

oh, this is a nice picture, very good composition. and very good moment - the woman is in her thoughts, very intimate moment. i see some strange grey shade over the image, probably post-processsing - could be done better. anyway, very nice work Mohammad

A very nice environmental portrait Mohammad! The composition is excellent and the strong point in the shot is, IMHO, the face expression of the woman...She has something in her face that give life and feeling to the picture!

this picture has some overexposed spots, but the theme and compo are superb. I would have perhaps done a little burning in PS on the hotspots if you have access to it. But, nonetheless, great contribution. TFS.

Very strong composition in emanated feelings and overal mood, Mohammad! The framing is just perfect and the light - superb. The woman with her expression, posture and colourful clothes is the strongest element of the shot here. Excellent job!

Great History in this composition, whith rural and traditional way of life.
The photo is very well done and sure will be kept for future, civilisations build in destroying the past and nobody can do anything to preserve sometimes. New generation need better than "old"...

Thanks for your fine documentary of that old town - I like the composition of this one - the woman looking at here future work and warmth - Also the wall with shadow and light adds extra to the image - Fine work as usual Mohammad - even I agree with the warmer colours of the workshop.

I am guessing, she is thinking about herself. It is said, those who look around him/her, would know something about himself/herself. We human are pretty much lucky. We don't just grow old and dried like the wood. Even though this photo is bright with a little cyan, it actually add a sombre and sobering look at life.
