Photographer's Note
Happy day of the Liberation to all Bulgarians around the world!!!
For the ones who don't know: on 3 March 1878 was signed the San Stefano peace treaty between Russia and the Ottoman empire, one of its clauses was the creation of an independent Bulgarian state unifying Bulgarians from all lands around the Balkan peninsula. Further developments deprived us from this dream-state but that's another topic without photos involved at all.
So in the small town Slivnitsa people also celebrated as well as commemorated the death of their ancestors who had died in wars between 1885 and 1918 so that our motherland to get back its borders defined within the San Stefano treaty...
And this wreath was a lonesome colourful spot in a grayish town and sky.
