This weekend Ventura Harbour is having a pirate festival, with plays, music, dancing, food and grog.
It is also a good time for the public to put on a pirate costume and stores there provide clothing, hats and acccessories.

With the current SoCal heatwave it is also convenient to walk across the street later and hit the surf and beach.
