Bryce Sunrise, a photo from ユタ, West

Photographer's Note

With all the long distances required to travel we managed to leave Zion National Park and arrive in Bryce just after sunrise. The rock formations here are unlike any other, and obviously look the best at sunrise. There is the Queen Loop trail which takes you down to see these interesting spires of stone.

Wow! this one is really nice, haven't seen bryce in sunrise though, it really gives the hoodoo's a good definition! A very sharp and strong contrast photo! Well done!

Hello Paul,
Seeing the thumbnail I thought these were stalagmites in a cave. So it was a surprise to see that this is an outdoor picture.
The composition is very good with the diagonal lines of both slopes opposite the upright peaks of the eroded hoodoo's.
Beautiful reddish tones.

hi paul,

I got the chance to visit this place twice and I have to say that a particular light condition helps increasing the magic of bryce.
the sunrise light provides the rock with intense and warm nuances...
