Between the Fox and Hounds Pub at Lydford and the White Hart at Bridestowe is an Avenue of Beech trees that are glorious to behold in the early morning sunlight , the pubs aren`t bad either!

Very attractive, warm light. I watch with pleasure.
The warm, rustic atmosphere. Well closed frame on the left.
IMO missing the closing scene from the right and if there was a small tree in the background it would be ideal, but not always happens.

The composition is good, not very good, overall picture reception is great and definitely worth stopping for a moment to see it.

And what better way to spend some time than getting some fine shots of this area and then popping into one of your favourite pubs for a nice cool glass of ale?

It is the gorgeous light which really makes this one so lovely! The bright morning sun has illuminated the field beautifully but I really love the dappled light on the tree trunks - that is truly magic. Lots of fine detail, excellent depth of field and glorious vibrant colours.

The main feature is peace and tranquility enhanced by the wonderful composition. The game from the light with the shadows creates a wonderful result. The pallete of green is amazing. Excellent clarity and sharpness.

So you've been to Bridestowe in both Tasmania and England. What a magical photo, it seems straight out of an Eind Blyton fairytale. I love the rich hues and the warm light. You composed the shot extremely well, showing the lovely cool green textures of the tree trunks. Excellent work, very beautiful.

Hello Leslie,

As I looked at this marvelous shot, an oxymoron leaped to mind, "a veil of massive tree trunks." The mighty trees do stand tall with a verdant field and brilliant light. It's a veritable Constable.

this is a simple shot but one that I love! The greens at this time of year are so special and the whole atmosphere of renewal is captured so perfectly in this fine image and composition. Beautiful!

I found this picture is very peaceful. all tone of greens are available. it looks like you choose the POV very wisely. I like the way how trees are in row with different size and especially the one on the left side is so characteristic.
