Photographer's Note
These ice formations were taken at the glacial pond at the base of Saskatchewan Glacier in Banff National Park. The ice formations are still attached to the bottom of the pond and therefore do not tip over but simply sit melting into wonderful sculptures. Reaching this glacier requires about a three hour hike on a fairly easy but little known trail.
