Photographer's Note
The Maritime Theatre, definition from unknown sources, but current use is one of the first buildings of the villa, so that was interpreted as the very first, temporary residence at the site of Hadrian. Its characteristics make it credible separation of the hypothesis that the site constituted a very private retreat of the emperor. The structure, begun in 118, was built near the villa Republican. It is a very unique complex, one floor, with no relation to the usual form of a Roman theater, consists of a portico which nothing remains, while the threshold of the atrium and recognizable traces of mosaics. Inside consists of a circular portico with Ionic columns, turned. The porch overlooks a canal in the center of which stands a small island of 45 meters in diameter, also made ??by an atrium and a porch on axis with the entrance, plus a small garden, a small spa, some environments and latrines. The structure did not provide any stone bridge linking the island to the outside world, it was necessary to reach out and to get a short bridge.

Hello Valter,
The lovely light characterizes this photo, maybe even more than the rounded arcade which makes for a very elegant composition. The light falling on the pillars and the incredibly clear reflections on the quiet water are a captivating sight. Everything is captured with a perfect sharpness.
Best regards,
Gert

Ciao Valter,

Complimenti e grazie!
tanti saluti e buona notte,
Ourania

Ciao Valter
sono sempre attratto dalla luce calda e qui ben visibile, tra l'altro si unisce bene al soggetto.
Un pov diverso dai soliti, piacevole e meno maestoso, ma non meno apprezzabile.
Saluti

Hi Valter,
This is both a very beautiful structure and a very good picture! The pillars, standing along a curve, are excellently exposed the the warm sunlight and your POV is very well chosen to show the curving lines. A very pleasant and well composed picture.
Kind regards

Hi Valter
A historic ruin with lovely neat row of dominating columns receding smoothly in a curvature to the far the background intensifying the depth and perspective. You have chosen the best spot to highlight the intricate detail so spectacularly and the contrast is awesome to deep blue sky. The subtle warm light further adds to the sensation. Excellent shot, Well done.
I have one issue to highlight, noticed magenta and green 'ghost' chromatic aberration lines along the edge of structures, need corrections, Tx.
Kind regards

Hello Valter,
Iエve seen many pictures from this place, but this one is definitely the best Iエve seen so far.Love especially the warm light createing here so nice mood. But also POV you chose to capture the scene provide us with excellent perspective and view over this ruins. And in the end the real highlight for me,namely these reflections in water sink along the collonade, that interplays so well with the light to create so moody and tranquil atmosphere.Beautiful scene-excellently taken!

Caro Valter

Ciao caro Valter,
You have shown us several pictures of this place before and each time I always think that Hadrian must have been a very lucky fellow to have lived in such a beautiful place!
The warm and low-angle light brings out the lovely textures and some wonderful colours here and the reflections in the still water are magical. Your composition is perfect too with the curvature of the row of columns and the surrounding wall leading the eye well into the picture. And all beneath a beautiful blue sky.
Lovely colours and light, perfect exposure and stunning details and sharpness.
Beautiful!
Kind Regards,
John.
