When the thumbnail came up on the screen I thought it was a view from Devon or Cornwall.It is very similar, although without crashing waves. A lovely winding road leading down to a tranquil sea.

Superbe graphisme avec cette route qui serpente sur ce flanc de montagne et ouvre la perspective vers la mer, belle vue d'ensemble et plongeante avec le bon d騁ail du village � gauche et en bas.

Beautiful view from high terrain down over the Fjord, Nicolas, the curves of the (empty) road added to the sense of the heights, contrast to the small village houses bellow.
Nice taken on a misty morning, we see the mountains steep cliffs "falling" to sea in fairly good visibility.

Hello Nicolas,
Excellent point of view to capture this beautiful scene. The hairpin bends add a touch of graphism to the shot and make a good pair of lead lines toward the inlet. Lovely light and colours; great depth and clarity. Merci pour le partage et bon week end.

De ce point de vue, on se demande bien pourquoi tout ce d騁our qui allonge beaucoup la route . Probablement � cause des freins des poids lourds. En tout cas, la vue est imprenable.

I've always wanted to head back to Denmark, looking at your photos makes me want to head back even more.

i'd love to see this photo with passing car lights in the dark too :)

Hello Nicou - Your vantage point shows us a wider view of the distinctive landscape of the Faroe Islands and I notice again that there is not a tree to be seen! The grass manages to grow on what looks like rock with the merest covering of soil. A land not for the faint-hearted, wild and beautiful. The zigzag road you feature in this shot lloks as if it takes one on a fabulous tour of the place.

An interesting scene.

ottimo pov e bella composizione, la strada si inerpica proprio come un serpente.
ﾈ sorprendente la mancanza di alberi in questa terra, un paesaggio molto particolare, dove non credo sia facile vivere.

The 's' shaped road enhances the composition and nicely leads the eye around the image. Good sharpness and a superb high pov. I like how the line of the lower road continues along the top of the hill along the lake at left. Tfs!

A breath taking mountain view leading the eye through the vast landscape with immense depth and an excellent focal of interest. The limited colours suits the subject with the eye catching backdrop while the winding road provides the striking contrast and strong anchor. The slight haze adds a nice overall effect. Some exquisite work that turns this to a very appealing shot, Congrats

A picture which has 3 aspects, all of whch are interesting...
The road which draws first attention, and then the small village down below in the shore of the lake and then foggy outcrop in the BG plunging into the sea...Lovely work!
