Klaipeda Canal, a photo from Klaipedos, North

Photographer's Note

Klaipeda is a coastal port on the Baltic Sea coast of Lithuania. Taken on a sunny Autumn / Fall day last October. I was attracted to both the warm cold color contrast between the blue sky and water, and the yellow foliage; as well as the perspective leading to the old sailing ship. Klaipeda is the 3rd largest city in the country, with 157,350 people. To the south is Kaliningrad in Russia, and to the north is Latvia.

Fantastique vue et cpatage sueprbe image quel navirre et voilir tout en blanc sur ce canal bleu et la lign馥 d'arbres grandisoe ensemble avec ce saule qui trempe ces branches dans l'eau ces personnage sur le quai super.

Superb view with great depth and perspective. The white sail boat stands out on the clear blue water which again is superbly contrasted by the gorgeous vegetation on the left. Definitely a most beautiful and relaxing location to spend time. Excellent work and tfs!

very beautiful scene from Lithuania. The path of the left have rich colors of green and yellow balanced with the blue from the other side of the photo. Lovely place. I really like the boat in the scene.

This is a great scene and you have captured it skillfully. The converging lines created by the sides of the waterway create a nice sense of direction for the shot. The lighting is great yielding fine color and detail. The placement of the tall ship is great using the colorful trees to create balance.

la diagonale del fiume � sottolineata dalla fila di alberi multi colore, la.giornta � splendida e la luce ha un effetto meraviglioso.
A completare la composizione c'� il veliero a destra che bilancia la foto in modo fantastico grazie anche al bel soggetto.

The channel length gives perspective and depth to the composition. Shooting can see the details of trees and sailboat. The quality of light embellishes the colors in the image.
