Small ranch..., a photo from Sao Paulo, Southeast

Here in the State of S縊 Paulo - probably in every Brazil - this is the typical image of the Ranch. Aur駘io (Dic.): " 6. Bras. Agricultural establishment of small farming.
7. Bras. Fazendola.
8. Bras. Rural home, or small farm in the vicinity of the city."
Or be: A small rural property where usually the owners live and they take care of all of the tasks.
Observe: The gate a small close stream of her that is not very apparent. The house. Plantations. Trees and the dirt road!

Excellent! Your composition is spot-on. The path leads the eye beautifully into the picture. Good decision to include the tall tree in the foreground to give the photo depth. The sky seems to be a bit overly saturated, but just a minor point. Very nicely done!

Esta foto es simplemente, increible! La combinaci de los colores es fantastica.
que l疽tima que no es m疽 clara.
Intent� hacerla m疽 clara.
pero perd� pocos de detalles de las nubes in el proceso.

Sou suspeita porque adoro cores... e a satura鈬o est� linda... esta composi鈬o � muito bem que a do workshop.Falta um pouco de sharpening..nada que uns cliques n縊 resolvam

Esta foto realmente chama a aten鈬o, inclusive tem um n伹ero de visitantes acima da m馘ia. Lembra inf穗cia, interior, tio, av�, sei l�, quem tem parentes e liga鈬o com o interior vai se interessar por ela. Muito boas cores, composi鈬o ima.

Less sky and more pasture for this one and it is a lot more inhabited. Is it the large green palette or the wonderfull summer light or both ? Your picture represents precisely what Brazil looked like to my eyes a few months ago. I'm not sure I have a picture that does it so nicely.

ol� nofer. Sua foto esta realmente muito bonita, a composi鈬o esta muito boa, � um belo lugar! As cores est縊 boas mas no meu monitor aparecem um pouco saturadas, mas talvez seja sua escolha, de qualquer forma, parabens pela bela foto.

Hola Jose Reynaldo. Una foto muy luminosa y con unos colores muy intensos. El paisaje y la composici son inmejorables. Me gustar僘 saber si has utilizado alguna clase de filtro o has utilizado el Photoshop o es la foto al natural.

this is very beautiful! I love the colors. The path just draws you into the scene. The distance is very nice with the little house and the pasture. I also love the blue sky dotted with clouds.

This picture surprised me--I never thought of Brasil this way! The house is different, but the landscape looks exactly like the farms here in Pennsylvania (where I live), especially the Amish farms. As for the photo itself, it is nice and sharp and the colors are true to life. The composition is great with the tree framing one side and the red road drawing the eye in. The house is in the center, but that's okay because there are so many lines in this photo. Muito bonita :)

Jose I like this picture in fact I like it very much. A Long time ago when I was a child I had a story book with a path that went winding round the countryside over a hill and that picture fascinated me I always wanted to walk up that path to find out where it went well it looks like you have found that path and here it is right out of the storybooks in your picture.
The balance the colours are all very beautiful in this extremely well composed picture.
The house gives that one necessary break in the green the red of the roof and some of the exposed earth adds a lovely touch of colour.
Parts of the sky are just a bit too blue if you have used saturation for that than better you lower it a little. If that is a natural shade than wow. Anyways it is a lovely place and an excellent shot.
I looked at the workshop, the cropping gives full focus to the farmhouse so we are left with a ranch... the fairytale is gone though. The WS is good to illustrate the way they live but the picture itself is wonderful as it is.

I just have to agree that this is an excellent picture and, as you stated in your note, a typical image of a brazilian "fazenda".
Are these colors original or did you do any post-processing?

I have just been browsing through your gallery, Reynaldo. We certainly get a good sense of what your part of Brazil is like from the photographs that you have posted. I do like the many rural scenes like this that you have in your gallery. I like this composition the best because of the way in which the road leads the eye into the scene, and the fact that you have not put the horizon right in the middle. Technically I think it could cope with a touch more sharpness, but other than that it is an excellent photograph. Cheers . . . David
