What to show?
I wanted to show more of Dubai street art but I had no time. So why not now?
Here is a kind of mural that I always like very much.

Hello Malgo,
The paintings are very cleverly made with a good 3D effect, and the couple add the human touch that the photo needed. I think there would have been possibilities for a drastic crop here. There is a lot of staircase that doesn't mean much for the composition, and we could also have done without some of the wall above the painting. Cropping like this would bring the painting and people closer to us and the proportions of the photo would have been better. Please see my WS.

Hello Malgo, the quality of the painting is superb; in the thumbnails I really thought that there was an enormous hole in the wall!

Hello MALgo,
I didn't see this when I was in Dubai 2008 - must be new this 3D art. They're booming everywhere in the world. But at least this one on the street is free for everyone.
This 3D art are very mind-boggling and deceiving even it's not real. I think they got the mural wrong - giraffes with the coconut tress on the bg.....it's so wrong.

Hi Malgo,

The presence of the persons has an effect of scale. The point of view is showing the details of the mural and of the staircase. The light is enhancing the colours. Have a nice day.

Hello Malgo,
When I saw your photo, I immediately thought of what a beautiful view you had of the palm oasis through the hole in the wall.
However, the giraffe made more clear.
Fantastic murals in Dubai!

A great photo of this work of art, right next to the steps, which add a very nice pattern as well on the right hand side. Also the yellow colours create a nice contrast with the blue and green tones of the painting. Good inclusion of the two people.

Piękny obraz bardzo dobrze wykonany na schodach w Dubaju. Stało się to bardziej interesujące i turystyczne dzięki włączeniu pary cieszącej się fotograficznym momentem. Z ich ubrań przypuszczam, że byli ludźmi z Zachodu. WS rnie interesujące!

This is such fun!
From the thumbnail, it really looks like a hole in the wall but, full size, we see the giraffe!
A very well executed shot and one that was irresistible, with the couple becoming so much part of the scene!
I think I like the w/s close-up just a tad better.

Super wall painting making us believe it's a real hole, but a girafe downtown, it's not possible!
You could have cut a small part at left to remove the pillar

the BG os the mural is something tropical, I guess the giraffe would be more presented in a savana. nice surrealist mood with real personages in the stairs.

Hello dear Malgo,

What perfect examples of "Trompe l'oeil" in the walls on either side of this long staircase! It really is so very cleverly done and the artistic quality is good too.

Both of your photographs capture the scene perfectly but I have to admit that Gert's workshop definitely gives your main picture more impact by cropping and so focusing the observer's eye more closely on the artwork.

Hello, that mural has a 3D effect and creates depth. It represents a broken wall, a giraffe and a tropical setting. Successful illusion effect. Fine colors, good sharpness, regards.
