Behind the Polar Circle, a photo from Nordland, North

Photographer's Note

Photo represent a part of Reine - pictoresque little town, placed behind the polar circle on Moskenes.
Moskenes is one of the Lofotens islands.

Architecture on the photo is specific for this region:
-red colour of houses,
-houses supported by the wooden poles,
-roofs covered with a grass.

Near Reine you can see many attractions.
For example in Reine you can take a pontoon trip, on which you can see:

- Moskenstraumen (Maelstrom).
In this Maelstrom Jules Verne drowned Captain Nemo
(I talk about a book of Verne "20 000 Leagues Under the Sea"),

-and 3000 years old cave paintings in the Refsvikhula Cave.

lovely clear shot with intentional diagonal set up by boat and land...makes the water more interesting
the boat needs just a touch more room...the tide may change...:)

Excellent composition with the boat at the lower left corner taking us to the pictoresque fishing village.
The colors and the contrast is very good,as is your control of the light.
A slight tilt to the right,very slight.
I like it a lot

Nice compo with good use of the foreground boat leading the eye into the background 'rorbuer'. Crisp, clear setting.
(Are you sure this is Reine?).
Good for you to have the top weather when visiting Lofoten

Dzien Dobry Marta,
A lovely northern image, these norwegian red houses are a superb subject and you added interest to the view with this boat that guides the eye to the houses, I tried a small WS.
