Fourth picture of a new serie - Winter on the Veluwe.

We have set our caravan on a lovely nature campground and we are planning to go there twice a month till April 18th. So I hope to make a serie to present you this wonderful part of Holland.

The forest and drift-sand that make up the landscape of the Hoge Veluwe can best be explored from the saddles of white bikes (witte fietsen) - the kind that you see at every corner in Amsterdam. They can be borrowed at three locations within the park. Prepare to get lost between the trees..."

I saw the others pictures of the "series" and are good but this is byt far the best!. The B&W fits excelent!. The perspective is very good and the "pattern" of the bicicles are great!.

Great idea, and very well executed! I like the repetition of the bicycles, which naturally draws the eye into the scene. The snow on the bicycles is good too, giving a contrast between the sunny weather they are used in, and the harsh reality of winter. Black & white is a great choice for this picture. Well done!

Bonsoir Viviane, Voila une pr駸entation insolite du fameux "v駘o hollandais". Un int駻essant motif r駱騁� sur une longue diagonale avec une amusante rupture au bout. Je comprend que tu ais voulu placer ces v駘os dans le contexte de la for黎 enneig馥. Un cadrage plus serr� aurait un effet plus graphique � mon avis. Qu'en penses-tu

Viviane, ces v駘os donnent une image tr鑚 insolite quand la neige les recouvrent. Je pense qu'� pr駸ent les beaux jours pointent leur nez et que La Hollande va se couvrir de fleurs.

Salut Viviane,

I love the repetitive paterns on this picture that create a fanastic graphisme and depht. The composition was worked in a way to conduct our eyes trough the picture folowing the path of frozen bikes to enter in the woods. The light and contrast are perfect. I also felt atracted by the square shape you choose.It's going to my favorites
