Photographer's Note
A photo of my daughter, we had climbed the Erg Chebbi.
She is obviously quite younger than I so she was way ahead of me. I was only part way down the Erg and this opportunity presented itself. It was a hell of a climb but I got a few good pictures, I think this is 1 of them.
Retouched saturation, contrast with MS Pictureit

Wonderful photo. I love the sense of open space, with no one around. Great colour to the image too. Well captured.

a geat shot, the girl's presence gives the sense of vastness of the sand dunes. It makes me feel if I am present at the scene. Well exposed and color balanced.
Thanks for sharing.

Hi Bob,
Excellent composition. She really seems lost in the vast expanse (luckily she isn't!). Colours are great but i would be tempted to try a B&W WS.
Thanks

Nice sense of scale...she looks like just another speck in the desert. I like that you shot downhill to avoid any sky in the frame.

Nice shot, Bob, it really gives a feel for the huge space she is in. But I think it might be better compositionally if she were not so close to the center. Regards, Ken.

Hi Bob
Normally you're not supposed to place your subject in the centre of the photo - but how else do you create a sense of such scale? This is a beautiful shot - and entertaining! Great title. Congratulations.
