Intro: Hello!

My interest in photography was started by my father and continues to be supported by, him in a way.

Always interested in photography, he built a dark room in our basement and developed black and whites for the local paper on a weekly basis. As a child, I spent many hours helping him in his work.

Once I began to travel he bought me a good Canon camera and enjoyed every picture I brought back.

Now I live I live half way around the world from my parents and send them digital photos every week. My Dad is nearly deaf and cannot really talk on the telephone, so photography has given me a way to communicate with him.

I'm here on TE because I want to improve my skills and because I love virtual tourism.

Update October 2, 2010
After being on here for over 2 years now I guess it is time for an up date. I'd like to thank everyone for the their comments as I think I have improved over the years. My activity has waned since my family has recently grown and my time is going else where. Hopefully though I'll have time for some cyber traveling and comment writing. I still love seeing the world through the eyes of TE members. I'm glad someone is able to get out and enjoy it. Happy travels!
