Intro: I have been sick with the wanderlust virus for many years. When did I contract the disease? Probably when I was in grade six. I was fascinated by the Geography book. I remember browsing the book and being sent into a trance of day-dreaming by the photographs on it: the River Thames and the British Parliament, the Canals of Venice, the Statue of Samuel de Champlain in Quebec City, the Canadian rivers transporting logs, the Norwegian fjords, the animals in the African Savanna, the Austrian Alps, the rice terraces in the Philipines, and others.

Later on, when I started reading the magazine 撤opular Mechanics�, which, contrary to what its name may imply, featured many articles on cameras, I fell in love with Photography, and with traveling even more, because many of the photographs featured in the articles were taken in the most distant places of the planet.

Well, my dream of traveling and taking pictures began to be realized only a few years ago. I am enjoying it inmensely, and I hope I will be able to pursue it for many years to come.
