Now in Dubai.. a city, which is laying its claim to be one of the major megapolises of the world.

Distinctly cosmopolitan in nature, what with people from across the world making Dubai their home or workplace.. in fact, the expat population far outnumbers the natives. The glitz is there for all to see in this city with end number of entertainment outlets and a throbbing night life.. a city which never sleeps (as opposed to the cities which never go to bed ;).

Constructions at gigantic scales are the highlights of the place which was, not too long ago, simply a piece of Arabian desert. Burj Dubai, the world's tallest building is on its final stages of completion. Man-made islands or floating cities like the Palm and the Earth projects could very well be included in the Wonders of the World's 21st century edition.

Hope to capture the city in all it's elements in times to come. Will share some of my grabs with all of you at Trekearth!
