Intro: I live in Manhattan, and I take way too many pictures, which interferes with my job, and my sleep, and my social life. I started taking pictures after my granddaughter was born in 2003, and I haven't stopped.

You can find more work - including personal photographs - especially of my father, who's in a nursing home and has Alzheimer's disease - on Flickr.

Because there's a posting limit here, and because people really "look" at each other's photographs, I'm really appreciating TE.

I'm finally becoming a bit more disciplined - even sharpening pictures and trying to get rid of noise. I appreciate all the comments - and will try to give helpful critiques to you. This feels like a wonderful learning opportunity and a welcoming community.
