Museum of the Moon is a touring artwork by UK artist Luke Jerram.
Measuring seven metres in diameter, the moon features 120dpi detailed NASA imagery of the lunar surface. At an approximate scale of 1:500,000, each centimetre of the internally lit spherical sculpture represents 5km of the moon痴 surface.

Mausoleum of General Jozef Bem (5 photos) by Mariusz Kamionka (mkamionka)
(74311)
Mausoleum of General Jozef Bem is one of my favourite subjects to photograph every time when I visit my home town, Tarnow. I have showed here several very different photos, some better other worse, and I thought I will group them together in a dedicated theme.
Captain James Cook (8 photos) by Mariusz Kamionka (mkamionka)
(74311)
Captain James Cook was born few hundred meters from my present house. He was baptized in the closest church. The whole area has numerous references to Cpt Cook's life. Instead of listing it here, I decided to group my photos which are referring to Cpt Cook and his life in a dedicated TrekEarth theme.

California Dream: Archival Prints' Scans from CA.
I lived in Southern California in 2002-2004. Sadly it was in pre-digital times (for me). I visited CA twice few years later with a digital camera but of course I couldn't revisit all my favourite spots. This theme groups scans of my archival photos to distinguish them from newer digital photos recorded later.

Stewart Park in Marton/Middlesbrough (9 photos) by Mariusz Kamionka (mkamionka)

Stewart Park in Middlesbrough is one of the nicest parks I have ever seen. It is easy to find. Captain Cook was born in a cottage which was once located on the grounds of the present-day park; hence the park hosts the Cpt Cook Birthplace Museum. Signposts leading to it are hard to miss when you pass the Teesside. I live few minutes walking distance from the park. I showed several photos from the park already.
