For me sculpture can be a true representation of a live figure or a studied collection of shapes. It can be formal or informal, serious or humorous, large or small. Extreme examples could be a scarecrow, Trajan's or Nelson's Column, the Walt Disney Concert Hall or a model (or toy) of Mickey Mouse.
