The Castle of Qu駻ibus.
Having published a photograph last year, the luminosity was poor, for this reason I returned here by a more lenient weather in order to share with you this splendid landscape.

Qu駻ibus is built on a rock piton dominating the Corbieres. Its state of conservation is excellent and allows to appreciate the characteristics of a defensive medieval system. It was the refuge of Cathares and faidits during the Crusade. It is one of five wire of Carcassonne and one of the castles of Corbi鑽es.
At the foot of the piton the picturesque village of Cucugnan is located which live today by vine and tourism.

The castle was photographed in the morning around 10 a.m., that gives a back-light effect. To be able to have a normal luminosity, it is necessary to photograph in the afternoon.
